The Jefferson Israel Center was formally launched in June 2018 at a press conference held at Jerusalem. Since 2013, TJU has cultivated a series of meaningful collaborative ties in Israel that set the stage for the Jefferson Israel Center launch and Jefferson and the Israeli Innovation Authority (IIA) jointly signing on a Memorandum of Understanding for the primary purpose of expanding product development and validation within the Jefferson Health ecosystem.

The highly productive and well-established collaboration between TJU & Sheba Neuroscience teams will serve as a model for establish a global multidisciplinary Center of Excellence at the HTV. This model incorporates teams of neurologists, neurosurgeons, scientists and industry partners working together to advance clinical care, break boundaries and create a better future.
